This letter will o6cially conNrm your request for a formal hearing before the University Hearing Commission concerning the incident which allegedly occurred on November 19, 2020 at Parking Lot or Garage. SpeciNcally, it is being alleged that you were in an accident while on campus. When the police responded to the incident, they allegedly found you at the scene under the inWuence of alcohol. The o6cers allegedly had to ask you several times, and you repeatedly did not comply with their order. You eventually had to be handcuffed so that you would comply. When you spoke to the police, you allegedly gave them statements that you knew were not true. You allegedly told the police that you did not know who was driving the vehicle, when in fact you knew that it was you driving. You were taken to the station, where you failed all the given Neld sobriety test. You had a BrAC of 0.178. You were arrested for OWI over a 0.15 and OWI-Endangerment. While clearing the vehicle, the police allegedly recovered a pipe used for marijuana and a vape pen next to the vehicle, and a THC vape container inside the vehicle.

The alleged actions in this case put yourself and others in the university community in danger of their physical safety.

Therefore, based on the content of the report(s), the Dean of Students has charged you with the following violation(s) of the Indiana University Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities,
